Which giving option is best?
A few things to consider…
Giving by cash or check (including bill pay through your bank) is the best option if you want 100% of your gift to go to Destiny Church because there are no processing fees. Example: If you give $100 to Destiny using cash or check, Destiny will receive the full $100. Many banks offer basic bill pay services for free with their checking accounts. Just check with your bank to see if this is an option for you! Once set-up through your bank, the bank can mail your checks directly to Destiny Church on a schedule you choose. This is a great way to handle recurring gifts!
Processing fees
Giving digitally (via mobile app or online) allows you to pay using a credit/debit card or ACH bank transfer. This also means that the payment processor will deduct processing fees from your gift. Example: If you give $100 to Destiny using a credit/debit card, Destiny may only actually receive $97.50. Note: Bank transfer fees are generally lower than credit/debit card processing fees.
Giving digitally is a quick and easy way to give and can still be a great option. If you choose to give digitally but would like to help cover the processing fees, you will be given that option when you process your transaction.
